1999 Member of the team awarded £15,000 by the Royal Bank of Scotland to report into the rapid growth of Credit Unions in Scotland. Report produced.

2000 £2,650 from the School of Management Research Committee for a study into the potential of Scottish Municipal Banks for economic regeneration and financial inclusion. Report produced.

2000 £750 from the Scottish Community Foundation for a study into Financial Exclusion and Homelessness. Report produced.

2001 Member of team awarded £83,361 from the Scottish European Social Research Fund Objective 3 Programme for a project ‘Managing in the Millenium’.
